Homemade Pizza

One of the most loved foods due to its versatility. I’m not sure I’ve met a person who doesn’t like to have my homemade pizza. In fact I often get special requests for it to be made.

Remove the pizza dough from the fridge 1 ½ hours before you would like to enjoy it. After dough has been out for 1 hour, remove from the plastic bag and place it on a lightly floured surface. Preheat oven to 450 F. Spray a 16” pizza pan with olive oil alternatively if you have a pizza stone I would suggest pre-heating it now and dusting your peel with flour or cornmeal.

My standard pizza includes the following toppings and they are listed in the order that I put them on. Stretch the dough into a circle that looks like it would fit your pizza pan / stone. Carefully pick up the dough and place it onto your prepared surface. Place desired toppings onto your pizza and bake for 20 minutes. Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
